Olena Pinchuk Foundation Projects

Connected by their mutual charity efforts, Mariya Dykalo and Olena Pinchuk have worked together on charity partnerships since 2023 between Aspinal of London and the Olena Pinchuk Foundation. As a proud Ukrainian, passionate about her country and people, Mariya is a devoted supporter of Ukrainian relief efforts. For the Olena Pinchuk Foundation, she has designed a limited-edition collection of four Aspinal of London accessories. Each piece gives the wearer a meaningful expression of support for the people of Ukraine and raises money for the essential works carried out by the Foundation to support HIV positive children.

Since the outbreak of war, I have tried to support as many Ukrainian based initiatives as possible and am so proud to have been able to parter with the The Olena Pinchuk Foundation, which carries out critical work in Ukriane supporting women and children. Their pioneering initiative ‘Mobile Clinics for HIV-positive Children’ allows doctors, nurses, and volunteers to offer qualified and consistent medical assistance to children who are HIV- positive or born to HIV-positive mothers, who otherwise might not receive care. With the war engulfing Ukraine, the work of these mobile units is now even more vital due to the number of children displaced and transport links affected.

Connected by our mutual charity efforts, I worked with Olena Pinchuk on a charity partnership for 2023 between Aspinal of London and the Olena Pinchuk Foundation, creating the SUNFLOWER Series. These pieces of Art were the basis for the silk scarves made by Aspinal of London to raise funds for the Foundation and were accompanied by a collection of leather keyrings which I designed based on motifs symbolic of Ukraine and the spirit of Ukrainians. Thanks to the ongoing support of Aspinal customers, these pieces have sold out multiple times and enough money has been raised to provide a new mobile clinic.
