Description
Conceived in partnership with Aspinal of London in support of the Olena Pinchuk Foundation, the Sunflowers & Butterflies Art Scarf was created to raise awareness and funds for the Foundation’s Mobile Clinics for HIV-positive Children initiative in Ukraine. Through this collaboration, art, craftsmanship, and philanthropy unite in a project dedicated to providing vital medical care and support for vulnerable children affected by war and displacement.
Crafted in Italy from the finest pure silk twill and finished with delicately hand-rolled edges, the scarf features Dykalo’s original artwork from her ongoing Sunflower Series. At its centre lies Ukraine’s national flower, the sunflower, standing as a symbol of resilience and hope. Interwoven amongst the vivid yellow blooms are luminous blue butterflies whose delicate forms evoke transformation, renewal, as well as the joyful colour palette of the Ukrainian flag.
