Mariya Dykalo’s hand-painted designs form the original source material for her wearable art and limited edition prints. Drawing on the protective symbolism and visual language of Ukrainian Folk Art and Petrykivka painting, she creates immersive compositions where organic forms and gestural marks interweave across canvas and paper. Through stylised, emblematic imagery, these works express the animism of nature and reflect a belief in humanity’s connection to the natural world and its cyclical rhythms.
