Kaleidoscope Art Scarf 90x90cm

Kaleidoscope is a luxurious silk art scarf derived from Dykalo’s original hand-painted composition of the same name. Radiating with deep royal blues, silver, and gold, the design unfolds through hypnotic mirrored patterns inspired by the nineteenth-century optical instrument from which the collection takes its name, a device created “to view a beautiful form.” Combining hand-painted acrylic brushwork with digitally constructed repetition, the scarf transforms Dykalo’s intricate motifs into a richly ornamental field infused with references to Tudor design, the elegance of Art Deco, as well as the enduring symbolism of opulence and divinity. Tassels, jewel-like forms, and floral details emerge across the surface in an endlessly evolving composition. As the first piece created for The Kaleidoscope Collection – later realised in collaboration with womenswear designer, Laura Green – the scarf embodies Dykalo’s dialogue between fine art and fashion. Designed in London, digitally printed on 100% silk produced in Como, Italy, and finished with hand-rolled edges, it carries the tactile richness and visual intensity of the original painting into wearable form.
