Sunflowers and Endless Skies, 2022

The SUNFLOWER SERIES was created as an homage to the national flower of the Ukraine and a historic symbol of hope and peace; the sunflower. Inspired by the unyielding spirit of Ukrainians amidst war and hardship, Sunflowers and Endless Skies portrays vibrant yellow blooms against a deep blue canvas, the colours of the Ukrainian flag. The abstract outlines, colours, and movements within the artwork embody the unyielding resilience and unwavering determination of an Ukrainian nation in the face of war.
